Our CV Writing Process

Stage 1: Research
The first stage of the CV writing process is research, lots of research. In order to fully understand your career, experience, skills and achievements your writer will research your previous positions and companies. We'll study your existing CV or information upload with the aim of understanding every little detail. This stage of the process usually takes between 1 - 2 hours depending on your amount of experience.
Stage 2: Further Information
The next stage for your CV writer is to consult with you either by email or phone to ask you any questions they have regarding your previous experience. This is like a mini interview, and your writer is trying to extract as much information as they can from you to ensure the descriptions they write are accurately representing your skills and experience in your new professionally written CV.
Stage 3: Drafting
Once your writer has a solid understanding of your skills, achievements and experience, they will get to work on drafting your new CV. Using targeted keywords to your industry and occupation, they will craft a fully bespoke document guaranteed to put you head and shoulders above the competition. The CV drafting stage can take between 2-6 hours depending on your career level and amount of experience.
Stage 4: Document Design
All our professionally written CVs are designed to complement the newly written content, and no two designs are the same. If you have a CV design or format you prefer, we can work towards that, but your CV writer will typically design the CV based on your industry and personal experience. Designing your CV usually takes between 1 - 2 hours.
Stage 5: Proof Reading
Once your writer has completed the first drafts of your CV they will be sent to our quality control manager to proofread and give the final okay to send. During this process the quality control manager is looking to identify any areas of improvement whilst checking the spelling, grammar, layout, design, etc. 2 pairs of eyes are better than one! This process usually takes around 30 mins.

Stage 6: Revisions
More often than not, revisions will be required, this is totally normal and expected. Think about it this way, no one knows your career better than you, regardless of how long we research your positions, companies, experience and skills. We'll get the first drafts of your CV as accurate as possible, but we offer a complete satisfaction guarantee, so let us know any areas to be changed, your writer will complete the edits within 24 hours - or if they are minor, you can do them yourself and send to your writer for review.
